Our Process
Ramsa Sawmill Products Limited has been manufacturing forest products in the Caribbean for use both regionally and abroad since 1980. We believe in sustainable harvesting and enforced eco friendly manufacturing as a part of our daily operations.
Our product line has grown to include multi dimension lumber to meet any need. See here. From rough to dressed lumber we supply international quality cuts to fit the needs from hobbyists to wholesalers. We also have a quality line of hand-crafted products which include signature beds, doors, flooring, decking, moldings and much more.
Sustainable Harvesting
No clear-felling, no ugly scars to the landscape, no erosion, no dirty rivers, no messy roads or noisy trucks, and minimal disturbance to native plants and animals.
We are proud that our method of harvesting that provides a constant supply of wood resources throughout the landscape, with future timber yields unaffected or improved by current harvesting methods. Ecological sustainability goes hand in hand with economic sustainability, as it maintains the stability of natural functions, populations, successional patterns and carbon storage in the forest. Our harvesting methods strive to maintain these balances.
